Type of paper or film for manual shirt screen printing

Actually there are 3 types commonly used in the screenprinting industry (screen printing), namely HVS paper, Repro (like plastic) and Transfer Papper.
All three have different characteristics according to the needs of each printing industry. All types of paper are recommended for printers to print films using Solvent (oil) type inks (Laser or Inject).

Before we discuss the three first read Screenprint Process

Ok we just start from,

1. HVS paper

Afdruk film with HVS paper

In the process afdruk use this type of paper is a bit more time consuming and a rather complicated way. Because for afdruk we are required to use transparent paper. To outsmart the ordinary you lubricate using vegetable oil. To absorb light when afdruk longer and less suitable for images with small raster. This paper is disposable only.

2. Repro (plastic paper)
fthe ilm for afdruk using Repro

Actually this is not the type of paper, but more like a plastic, yaa plastic. But it is stronger than plastic laminate. By using repro which is basically already transparent so no need to sweeping oil, just stick on the screen that is ready afdruk. Excellent in screen cooking (afdruk) and highly recomended for images with small raster points. For repro can be used continuously as long as the color is still black.

3. Transfer Papper
Transfer Papper

Transfer Papper is a screen printing process that fully uses printer (injek type), do not use manual (afdruk process). This paper uses a sublimation technique that requires a regular heating process using a heat / hot press with a temperature of 175 degrees in 30 seconds depending on the type of paper because each product has its own provisions.

For the results we expect, it all depends on how to screen the screen by paying attention to the mixing of sensitizer and light to mature the drug afdruk, the type of paper used, as well as the computer editing and the printing machine used.
