How to design 1 image into 2 files (2 print paper) in Photoshop for manual screen printing

the result of how to separate 1 (one) image into 2 (two) images

There are many tricks that you can do in Photoshop for better results and certainly more efficient (depending on how to screen and the type of screen printing ink). A little curcol, when the writer wants to print paper for full t-shirt screen printing (it's not that you have a printer at home), eh, apparently the print service only has A4 paper and don't have A0 or A3 size paper. Then I thought about how to separate 1 large image into two file / document images, so that the desire to screen a shirt with full shirt size can be realized.

After fiddling with photoshop, finally succeeded in finding an effective way to overcome it.

Because the author doesn't give a lot of pictures, so pay close attention.

Open your favorite image that you want to edit, the example here we use the name "emo image" is recommended which has a good resolution (high)

Create document (file)
File> New
In Document Size change the pixel to cm
Fill Width 42 and Height 29.7 (A3 paper size)
Fill Resolution 250-300 Pixel
Select the Ractangle Tool and make 4 small boxes in the corner of the document, this serves to benchmark when printing later.
Press (Ctrl-S) save with the name "above"
Then press (Ctrl-Sift-S) save with the name "bottom"
Then File> Open and open the file with the name "above"

Then you now have 3 documents, which are 1 image you want to edit and 2 documents that you just created

Now you go to the "emo image" document that you want to edit,
Select the Image> Image Size menu
In Document Size change the pixel to cm
Fill in the Width to 42 (don't fill your Height)
Click ok
Then the image will grow, why should you grow up? because we want to print the size of A3 paper, so the image must be adjusted to the 2 documents that we have made.

Select the Move Tool click on the "emo image" image and hold it then drag (drag) to document "above"
Then press Ctrl-T, and adjust the width only

Select the Background layer
Select the Magic Wand Tool and click on the delimited image so that the dotted line appears on the top, bottom, left, right of the document
Then choose Layer 1 (emo image)
Press the Ctrl-J button, it will automatically form a new image, Layer 2, then remove the eye mark

Select the Background Layer again
Select the Magic Wand Tool again, and click on the delimited image so that a dashed line appears on the sides of the document as before
Then Select Layer 1 (emo image)
Press Delete on the keyboard, then the image will be erased, et don't be surprised brother! just calm down, just follow along with this step until after all.

Okay if you have deleted it, activate the eye mark on layer 2, then the image will appear

And now select layer 1, then select Move Tool then drag it to the document "bottom", then the bottom emo image will appear in the document "bottom"

Do not do anything first, remember we here will inflate images for screen printing, so that when connecting paper print later for the lighting process (afdruk) and sweeping the image can be precise and not missed.

Now you Close document "emo image"

Select Arrange Document and select 2 up ("2 up" serves to change the document view to 2 parts)

Select the View menu> Show> Grid, so that lines appear

Select document "up" and "bottom" then Zoom In the part of the image that is marked in red as shown below to 100% each.
how to zoom in photoshop so that the image is aligned

We will align the document image "bottom", so the document "above" does not slide or edit, just pass it.
Ok, select document "below", select Move Tool then adjust the "bottom" image with the "top" image with grid squares so that the image looks parallel to one vertical line (upright)
After Zoom In and adjust it to align

If it is aligned, reduce the 2 documents again with Zoom Out

Select the View menu> Show> Grid, and remove the check mark (removes the grid line)

Then the picture will look like picture 1.0 above and ready to be saved

Select File> Save for Web & Devices (if a message appears, just click Yes)

Save the 2 images to export them in JPEG format

Can you print a film using HVS or plastic repro paper
And how to connect it you put 2 boxes under the "top" picture with 2 boxes above the "bottom" image, you can connect using a clear solution (transparent). Then in Afdruk and screen printing. see how to screen it

How is the trick ?? Please try
